Karim and Hebba are a young, loving married couple who both have great careers. Karim is about to be appointed editor-in-chief at the top governmental newspaper, while Hebba is host of a popular TV talk show at an independent network that explores controversial political topics in Egyptian society. When officials inform Karim that his promotion is dependent on his wife avoiding political material on her show, Karim persuades Hebba to present features about "ordinary" people instead. But when Hebba begins airing shows about the lives of everyday Egyptian women, her new programming causes even more of an uproar with authorities than before!
